If you want to work as a nurse in Japan, you need a nurse license of Japan. So even if she's become RN there, it does not matter at all. She needs to attend 2-4 years of nursing school in Japan.

However, would still want to catch some snow in Gala Yuzawa Station by April so am trying to schedule the earliest we could go to Japan but with Japanese students already back in school. Thanks for any info.

Senior high school in Japan consists of 10th, 11th and 12th grades. The vast majority of students graduate are 17-18 years old.
2 :
Since the japanese start school a year later than their american counterparts, a japanese teen enters high school at age 15 and graduates at 18. So only 3 years of high school =D

Middle School: Grade 7: 13 years old Grade 8: 14 years old Grade 9: 15 years old Highschool: Grade 10: 15 to 16 years old- mostly 16 Grade 11: 16 to 17 years old- mostly 17 Grade 12: 17 to 18 years old- mostly 18 You enter highschool at the age of either 15 or 16 (depending on one's birthday).. thats why i said 15 to 16 and you graduate when you are either 17 or 18 (depends on one's b-day again) but mostly likely, its usually 18 years old.

Most programs operate in the same way. They offer fall semester, spring semester, year or summer programs. This is because you are attending school. I don't know how much flexibility you need, but you may not find what you're looking for in ANY high school program. You can find a list of all of them certified to operate in the U.S. at www.csiet.org. Maybe that will help you find what you need. Good luck!
