Can anybody explain how does the system of after school clubs in Japan works

Can anybody explain how does the system of after school clubs in Japan works?
Like how do you create the clubs and everything in detail because I might be moving to Japan soon!

Might? In view of that, I will keep this short. They practice everyday after school is over. Depending on the school they may practice on weekends and holidays. Or even have morning practices. Those morning practices are killers. My youngest daughter quit judo because of those things. In short, they can possibly eat up all the free time you have.

What do you have to major in, (In College.) To be able to go to Japan for school?
I want to be something that you can go to Japan and earn credits for College, becuase I really have no clue what I want to be, maybe an Architect, or a Marine Biologist, I want to be something that you can go to Japan and earn credits for college, because I think it would be neat to go to Japan, and if I can earn credits for college at the same time, that would be great. I have no clue what I want to be, but maybe an Architect or a Marine Biologist.

it varies by colleges and which schools they decide to do study abroad programs. schools with Japanese classes will of course go to japan. you don't neccessarily need to major or minor in the language, i believe... my school personally (U of Delaware) has an upcoming accounting and finance study abroad going to japan. so pretty much any major has a chance...it all depends on your luck with the school your going to! sorry if this wasnt much help!

When is the mid-year 2010 school holidays in J

When is the mid-year 2010 school holidays in Japan?
A bunch of us are going to japan at early July, and was wondering if the school holidays could introduce factors that needs more considerations (such as theme parks getting super crowded etc). When is it, and what implication does it have?

The main school holiday in Japan is Feb/Mar but theme parks and cities are crowded all year round. It's incredibly hot too so not really the best time to be standing around in a line.

Well, schools start their summer holidays around July 15-20. But some schools are in holidays even in the first half of July. So you are right to have concern that theme parks and other will be more crowded than usual time. BTW, we do not call it "mid-year school holiday"

What is a good school in Okinawa,Japan?
i found a city i want to go to when i go to high school in japan the problem is that i don't have a school to pick from and if i go to school in japan when im spos to be in 9th grade does that mean ill still be in middle school?
