How old are you when you finish high school in Japan

How old are you when you finish high school in Japan?
I knew a lot of kids who were in what's considered 7th grade and were maybe 15 or older. And I was wondering how old are you when you finish High school. I honestly keep meeting people who are really old and in middle school or maybe 20 and in their last year of high school Most of the older kids I met were on penpals sites or japanfourm

Usually, 18. >I honestly keep meeting people who are really old and in middle school or maybe 20 and in their last year of high school It's very rare. Where did you meet them? Addition: >Most of the older kids I met were on penpals sites or japanfourm I doubt it. They must be lying or something. There are very few people who go to school at that late age in Japan.

It doesn't make sense. Grading can't be that different between Canada/US and Japan. The "kids" you talked to could be lying about their age or whether they are in school or what grade they are in, if they are in school. Don't believe everything you read. PS: Be careful who you talk to online, as well.

Tuition for a Private High School can cost an average of 350,000 yen and higher depending on the school. Recently in some Prefectures of Japan, the prefectures have begun to subsidize the cost of tuition for residents.

A lot

I pay about $500 a month for my daughter to go to a private school. That takes into account the cost of the uniform and various other misc costs that are required.
4 :
Just average cost about private high, Nominal entry fee Yen300,000 (one time only) to 1,500,000 Annual tuition Yen300,000 Annual expense Yen300,000 Donation/warranty Yen 0 to 300,000 (one time only)
5 :
Some international schools like ASIJ (co-ed), Seisen (all girls), St Mary's (all boys) - all in Tokyo will cost you upwards to 2 Million Yen (about 22 thousand US dollars) and this does not include bus fees, building fees (whatever that is!), extra curricular fees, uniform prices (Seisen requires a uniform), etc. etc. etc. Not cheap by any means... http://www.seisen.com/index.php/admissions/tuition http://www.asij.ac.jp/admissions/tuition_fees.htm http://www.smis.ac.jp/Admissions/Fees.aspx
6 :
you have to be careful in japan, there they have much prostitution and drug selling
7 :
You need about 1.2M yen for 1 year to go to a private high school, according to this site. http://www.zyuken.net/term/gakuhi/index.html Tuition itself is about 320,000 yen. But you need a lot more money than tuition. And you must pass its entrance exam. It could be more difficult for you than preparing money.

It depends. In general, at municipal elementary, 8:30AM to 3PM, total 6.5hours including 1.5hours accumlated break per day in weekday it has. Public Junior High and/or High would be almost same.

If you are diagnosed with Aspergers whilst completing school in Japan must you attend a disability school

If you are diagnosed with Aspergers whilst completing school in Japan must you attend a disability school?
In some international schools, both abled and enabled can be educated harmoniously together to the exclusion of those with aspergers may require extra curricular classes etc. Is the system completely different in Japan? Thank you.

Aspergers go to normal schools in Japan. In fact, there are few special schools for Aspergers now.
